Doane - Claude

Claude E. Doane, 61 years of age, died at his home in Covington Tuesday afternoon, after an extended period of ill health. He was a native of Ohio, but had lived in Covington the past thirty years, successfully conducting a general plumbing business, He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cora Doane, three children, Mrs. Wheeler McMillian of New York City, Earl Doane of Covington, Martin Doane of Kokomo, and two brothers, Charles Doane of Cisco, Ill., and C.J. Doane of Weldon, Ill. Funeral services will be conducted at his home in Covington Thursday morning at ten o'clock, in charge of Rev. I.O. Carder of the Methodist church with internment at Mt. Hope cemetery in charge of Crumley and son.
